Problem #1
Jane and Sarah are neighbors in a quiet area of London. They both have beautiful gardens, but their plants are starting to get close together since there is no fence between their backyards. They have decided to have a builder come and build a small brick wall that will separate their gardens. Because they still want to be able to see each other, they have decided to build it only 3 ft. tall by 11ft. wide. The bricks that the builder will use are 4 in. tall by 6 inches wide. How many bricks will Jane and Sarah have to buy so that the builder can complete the wall?

If Billy has a juice jug that holds 2 gallons of water and he wants to make a recipe for juice can he put the juice in the jug if this is the recipe:
- 3 quarts of water
- 3 quarts of grape juice
- 2 quarts of orange
- 1 quart of strawberry
Problem #3
Mr. Tate just bought a new house in the neighborhood where he will be teaching. The only problem with the house is that all of the doorways are too short for him seeing as he is 2.1 meters (m) tall. The doorways are currently 180 centimeters (cm) tall. He has hired a carpenter to come in and fix this issue for him. If Mr. Tate wants 2 cm of space when he walks under the doorway, how much higher does the carpenter need to make the doorway?
